I drive a 2011 Yamaha Raider, as my daily commute. In searching for a tunnel bag, I found conflicting information in regards to size and fit for my bike. This Bag comes in two sizes, the smaller TS1450 (Amazon recommended for the Raider) and The larger TS1620. Whereas the Raider has a 10.5 inch wide tunnel, I took the chance with the larger TS1620S. It fits perfectly. The Bag is very well made, with the highest quality materials, and would probably survive a nuclear blast. There is ample room for all my gear in the main pocket, but prefer to use the side pockets for my phone, wallet and small stuff (easier to find when you need them). The Universal mounting system is the only drawback to this bag and the reason for the four stars vice five. It is next to impossible to securely fasten to the rear seat, and moves back and forth when the bag is fully loaded. a rubber pad between the mounting pad and the seat helps, but does not eliminate the problem. I opted to remove the back seat and permanently mount the bag to the Yamaha's OEM luggage rack, it's less versatile but more practical this way (and you don't have to worry about it being stolen when left unattended).I would strongly recommend this bag and plan on buying another one for my girlfriend's bike.I bought this Saddlemen bag for a spontaneous road trip from Northern California to Creater lake to Portland and back down in 4 days on my little CBR250. It held up well and was able to add a lot of items into the bag. I carried all my clothes in plastic bags including spare jacket and pants, filled up couple of water bottle sized cans with gasoline for reserve that I never had to use, Had a tire repair kit, Basic tools to be able to work on the bike in case of an emergency, ended up buying a can of chain lube and a scrub brush along the trip and shoved it in there as well. If you really wanted to, you could have probably strapped on a tent, sleeping bag and mat on top of the bag. All in all it's a great bag with decent amount of storage for a great price. In closing, I will say this: PROTECT YOUR PAINT. With all the weight of the items into the bag and the vibrations of the bike, I got some light scuffs on the paint once I took the bag off. An easy fix would have been to buy some clear screen protectors, universal kind or for tablets at a 99 cent store and slap it along the painted fairings of your bike. Something as simple as this will save your paint from the abrasion. Safe riding everyone! As stated in the title I use this bag as a communter bag for my ZX14. The bag was easy to mount to my back seat, and the included additional straps are perfect for securing the bag from side to side movement. You must use these or the bag will move around as you ride. I dont know about you but that freaks me out a little. The additional straps i connected to the exhaust mounts and the bag on the front corners and let me tell you that bag does not move. Not even at highway speeds and sharp cornering. I bought the large tunnel bag for my applicaion as the ZX14 has a large back seat. The bag does rub on my fenders so I had to get some contact paper to cover them with, which is a cheap fix for the problem. Looking at the bag on the bike, it's size fits quite well. There is plenty of room for anything I would like to carry. You could easily fit a laptop, several pads of paper, rain gear, and even a change of clothes with boots, and the bag would not be buldging.Way better than a tank bag and when you are done riding for the day, just disconnect you straps grab the handle and pull. The bag comes right off and carries easily. Here is the short story. I love the bag. It does everything I have asked it to do and never let me down. It is secure and roomy and woth every penny as far as I am concerned. This Saddleman wide tail bag is a missing link for me. It is a perfect carrier for the ZX-14, fitting the saddle to a Tee.I have a 60 mile commute in the Texas summer, and am able to put slacks, shirt and shoes, as well as gym clothes and a small case with pens, micro sd, moleskine, etc. in for the run. I can also drop in a thin 15" laptop when needed. The attachment is very smart: simple to install, effective and unobtrusive when not needed.I have been looking for just such a bag for a very long time. Backpacks are unpleasant in the summer heat, and other tailbags are a nuisance to mount and dismount. This one is simply well-conceived and nicely executed. That said, I am not overwhelmed by some of the material choices and am a little curious about how long the bottom fabric will last. The securing straps for the seat mount are adequate, but not robust. I've supplemented them with a 3rd high strength anchor strap. All considered, I recommend the Saddleman tunnel bag for you sport bike monkeys. It has not flown off in triple Ds and holds a bunch of kit. I will definitely update this if I find otherwise... Go On!I've had this tail bag for a few weeks now. It works well & its fairly easy to mount. You really have to tighten it down to lose all the wiggle in turns but there are plenty of D-rings to use bungee cords to secure a heavier load. It has a purple look in sunlight in case that bothers anyone but otherwise it fits my XR1200X perfectly & is easy to mount & dismount. My only complaint is my fault but I didn't realize the bag handle (thick rubber) would rub so bad on my rear fender this is no issue for riders with clear coat but my denim flat paint when rubbed too much in once spot starts to look glossy. So now I have a glossy streak across the back. Not the bags fault, mine BUT just something to note. Plenty of pockets. To give you an idea. I take tooth, paste, contacs, glasses, change of clothes, 2 headsets, an xbox 360, 2 controllers, & 5 games in this thing plus 2 pairs of riding glasses clear & tinted. It's a little stuffed but it zips without stressing the bag & nothing is crushed so yes this bag holds a lot of stuff for just being a tail bag.
