This is one big bag for a motorcycle.I bought it for trips by my wife and I on our middle weight 2009 Triumph America.Build quality is real good.The top round bag is removable for use on day trips or if not necessary. This reduces the height of the bags.The main compartment has an adjustable shelf and there is a rain cover, permanently stowed on the top, that can cover the entire unit in a couple minutes.The mounting straps are easy to use and very flexible for different bikes and different positions (luggage rack or passenger seat, etc).This unit easily carries enough for my wife and I to make extensive trips, in decent weather.When travelling, I have not noticed any detrimental effects on turbulence or handling.Be aware, though, that this unit is so large that it is possible to load it in a way that raises the bike's center of gravity making the bike much easier to tip over while on the kickstand. Keep the heavier stuff low and be careful if parking on a slope.Usability is enhanced by all the various pockets, internal and external, that allows organization and easy location of smaller things, like cameras, gloves, cell phones, etc.The main compartment can be accessed from either side and both can be locked.I would very definitely get this same bag again and highly recommend it if you want large capacity.
